These terms govern your use of Istello. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What Istello is
Istello is a marketplace that connects clients with independent beauty professionals ("Pros"). Istello does not provide beauty services and is not a party to any agreement between a client and a Pro.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure.
3. Bookings
A booking request is a request to a Pro, who confirms availability. Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and refund terms are set by each Pro and shown on their profile or in messages.
4. Payments
Payments and deposits are made directly between clients and Pros using the Pro’s stated methods. Istello does not process, hold, or guarantee payments and is not responsible for disputes over payment, deposits, or refunds.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Istello for unlawful activity, harassment, misrepresentation, or to post content you do not have the rights to. Pros are responsible for their own licensing, qualifications, and compliance with applicable laws.
6. Content
You retain rights to the content you post and grant Istello a license to display it as needed to operate the marketplace.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Pros, or that any booking will be fulfilled. Please vet Pros independently.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Istello is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of clients or Pros.
9. Termination and changes
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
